Justice and society

The Justice and Society Research Cluster explores the laws, policies and norms that shape, contest and impact justice across a range of social-ecological systems (food, land, housing, criminal justice, environmental, and belief systems) affecting people, places and institutions in our society.
We explore the diversity of strategies that work within and outside formal systems to shape the meanings and practices of justice. We study the impacts of diverse change pathways for people, places, ecologies and institutions in our society with a specific focus on the outcomes of justice, injustice and rights.
