Digital societies

Digital technologies are now part of everyday life. The Digital Societies Research Cluster examines human engagement with and through technology, and the countless ways in which social and individual lives are connected with the digital. We study how digital technologies are intertwined with changes in culture, identity, health, education, crime, and government. Our research may involve use of innovative digital research tools and techniques, taking advantage of the diverse nature of digital data. Together, our research examines the significance of the digital for both contemporary and future societies.
