The punitive woman?: Gender differences in public attitudes toward parole
Duration:
April 2015–April 2020
My research explores gender differences in public attitudes toward parole and, in particular, whether a gender gap in support for parole exists amongst members of the Australian public. Possible reasons for this gender gap are explored, including the role of emotions in influencing people's views toward the release of prisoners.
