The School of Social Science, together with the TC Beirne School of Law and the Office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous Engagement) put on a successful event to commemorate 25th Anniversary of the Mabo Decision. The School’s Professor David Trigger took part in a panel discussion with long-time colleague from the Carpentaria Land Council, Murrandoo Yanner, lawyer Joshua Creamer and member of the Torres Strait Regional Authority, Mr Getano Lui. The discussion was Chaired by Avelina Tarrago, Vice-President of the Indigenous Lawyers Association of Queensland.
