ARCS2010 Ancient Technologies is a second year archaeology course at UQ which aims to build understanding of the principles, evolution and sophistication of ancient technologies. Experimental archaeology is an important arm of archaeological research used to develop and test hypotheses about the practicalities, operational conditions and limitations of prehistoric technologies. As part of last years course students were expected to design and perform an experiment while filming the process. In this seminar four students will introduce their videos for our viewing pleasure.
