Pipin Prasetyono is a seasoned fiscal and financial sector analyst with Indonesia's Fiscal Policy Agency, Ministry of Finance. His career includes notable service as a fiscal economist with the International Monetary Fund’s Resident Representative Office in Indonesia. Currently, he serves as an Economist specialising in Pension Sector Development with the Indonesia-Australia Partnership for Economic Development (PROSPERA). Pipin is the recipient of a prestigious PhD scholarship from the Indonesian Ministry of Finance and is pursuing his doctorate at the School of Social Science, University of Queensland. His research focuses on the behavioural intentions behind the adoption of a Matching Defined Contributions (MDC) pension program for informal workers in Indonesia, while also exploring the political commitment and fiscal challenges involved in its implementation.
