The 2025 UQ Honours Cohort
This week’s Archaeology Working Paper will include a number of short, Pecha Kucha style presentations from the 2025 UQ Honours cohort who have just started their Honours at the beginning of this year. Each student will present for approximately 3-5 minutes and introduce themselves, their topic and their research questions. There will be time at the end of each short presentation for questions from the audience. This Working Paper is intended as an opportunity for the Honours students to present in front of a collegial audience, receive feedback and encouragement, and to refine their public speaking skills.
About the presenters
A number of 2025 UQ Honours students will present who are researching various fields of archaeology, including zooarchaeology, archaeobotany and historical archaeology.
About Archaeology Working Papers
The Working Papers in Archaeology seminar series provides a forum for dissemination of archaeological research and ideas amongst UQ archaeology students and staff. All students are invited to attend the series and postgraduate students, from honours upwards, are invited to present their research. The aim is to provide opportunities for students, staff and those from outside UQ, to present and discuss their work in an informal environment. It is hoped that anyone interested in current archaeological directions, both within and outside the School and University, will be able to attend and contribute to the series.
