School of Social Science's, Dr Kelsey Lowe, and Honorary Research Fellow, Dr Serena Love, presented last Wedensday night for a Pint of Science and National Archaeology Week 2019 event. Their session, Rocking the Bar, was held at Newstead Brewing Company and was sold out two weeks prior! Senera’s talk was about Brewers of the Stone Age, while Kelsey's talk was on Mineral magnetics and early human occupation. Speaking about the event, Kelsey said "from what we learned, Brisbane had the biggest turn out/presentations yet, so it was an honour for us to be a part the organisation and promote science to the public."
