UQ School of Social Science (Criminology program), Adjunct Associate Professor Debbie Platz, was recently awarded the Telstra Woman of the Year Award for Queensland in the category of Public Sector and Academia.
Debbie has been an Adjunct Associate Professor with us for over three years. She has worked tirelessly with many of our criminology team on a range of different projects and for the Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice (Honours) program, bringing opportunities for our students to build work experience with the Australian Federal Police. Debbie is a wonderful friend and colleague to all in our program.
