Solomon Islands, Undergraduate Field Trip July 2023 - EOIs Sought from our current Undergraduate students.
Academics from the School of Social Science will lead a field trip to Solomon Islands for 20 undergraduate students from 5 – 19 July 2023* funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s New Colombo Plan Mobility Projects. This is the first time a group of undergraduate students from the School of Social Science will have the opportunity to study in Solomon Islands, and to gain credit from this experience towards your undergraduate degree program.
We’d love to receive an expression of interest from you if this sounds like your kind of educational adventure. Please note, you will be required to enrol in a 2 unit advanced level course SOSC3300 “Field experience un the Social Sciences” as a general elective, thereby ensuring you obtain credit towards your degree. You therefore need to ensure that you have completed year 1 of your degree, and have space within the rules of your program for this elective.
Applications are open to Australia Citizens only, unfortunately, International students and Australian residents are unable to apply.
Please refer to this document for further information about submitting an EOI – due 10th March 2023.
